Tommy Lee-1-819x1024Thomas Lee Bass is an American musician hailing from Greece. He was a founder member of heavy metal band Motley Crue. Lee Bass also serves as the band's long-term drummer. He also co-founded Methods of Mayhem, an rapper group. Lee has also been involved in solo music projects. Lee has a strong support for PETA and animal rights. In 2010, Lee wrote a letter to Terry Prather, the president of SeaWorld protesting the treatment given to Tilikum the orca. Lee thought the animal should be released, and he stated that SeaWorld wouldn't comply as Tilikum is their main donor of sperm. Lee wrote that he was horrified by SeaWorld's cruel and insidious methods of getting Tilikum sperm. Lee stated that he wanted to not want to see trainers dying, since these tragedies were the result of whales' aversion to captivity.
