Najarra Townsend

Najarra already knew her purpose in life at the age of three. She started modeling and also acting in stage productions locally as she remained involved in theatre and musicals through her early and teenage years. She first appeared in the world of film at ten years old, costarring on the film "Menace". Najarra has been recognized internationally by her performance in "Me and You and All the People We are" in 2005, a film that was nominated for the Sundance and Cannes Awards in 2005. She played the title character in various films like "Tru Loved" in addition to 'MarinBlue" and "Betty I am". In 2014, audiences got to see a new side of the actress's youthful self in"Contracted," which was an IFC Midnight horror hit "Contracted".
