Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue A. Ellis Taylor is an American producer and actress. She holds a BA in African-American Studies from Brown University and an MFA in acting from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Aunjanue Ellis is an American actor and producer active in the fields of theater, film and television. Her career in acting began at the theatre. She then appeared in several television shows, independent films and mainstream movies. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. Then, she made appearances on BET's acclaimed show The Book of Negroes. In 1995 she debuted in the role of Ariel on the stage in The Tempest. In addition to the Broadway production Come and Gone, she also has credits for Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. Her film career is highlighted by her performances as a character in Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express, and The Help. Her role as a character in the drama series High Incident on ABC High Incident earned her praises.
