Awkwafina
Awkwafina, an American singer and actress began by releasing a humorous rap track that dealt with issues of race and sexuality. The career of the singer and actress grew to Hollywood after she released several rap songs. Nora Lum was born to Chinese Korean immigrants living in Forest Hills Queens. Her first experience with music came through the instrument of trumpet. Jazz, classical and hip-hop education began when she was a teenager. While at school, she studied journalism as well as women's studies in college even learning Mandarin in Beijing for a time. When she graduated, she started to pursue music as her main focus. After gaining viral fame via the Internet the track My Vag was a reaction to Mickey Avalon's My Dick. It eventually appeared on the album she released, Yellow Ranger. The album also contained were other viral hits including Queef (body-positive) as well as NYC Bitche$. The last track was closely linked to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide, which was released in the year 2015. She decided to pursue acting careers after completing her first two endeavors, author and musician. Alongside early TV shows like Girl Code and Tawk - she appeared in movies Neighbors 2 Storks and Bad Rap. In 2018, she landed many major roles like Dude Ocean's Eight or Crazy Rich Asians. That June she issued the EP in Fina We Trust.
